Just tune your car's radio to any of the unit's 12 FM frequencies and sit back to enjoy XM Radio's 67 commercial-free music channels; 63 channels of sports, talk, comedy, children's, and entertainment programming; and more than 21 channels of advanced traffic and weather information for major U.S. metropolitan areas. Roady2 offers a convenient scroll wheel, 30 channel presets, and 10 direct-entry buttons. The two-line display offers artist, track, and channel information, and it has seven selectable background colors to achieve the look that suits your style: red, night blue, green, pink, purple, sky blue, and orange. TuneSelect will alert you when a favorite song starts playing on another channel, and the unit's versatile mounting options consist of a vent mount, swivel mount, or Velcro. Additionally, Roady2 is the first satellite-radio receiver capable of displaying up to 20 customized stock quotes while playing any of XM's 150 digital radio channels. The influential PC Magazine gives the Roady2 five stars, calling it a "brilliant device" and naming it an Editor's Choice. The magazine praises the Roady2 for its small size and rich features. The ticker keeps track of up to 20 of your favorite stocks while you listen to your favorite music, news, sports, and talk channels. Stock data is provided by Comstock, Inc.; stock and market index information is delayed by approximately 25 minutes. Broadcasting live daily from studios in Washington, D.C.; New York City; and Nashville, Tennessee, at the Country Music Hall of Fame, XM Satellite Radio's 2004 lineup includes channels offering music from hip-hop to opera, classical to country, and bluegrass to blues. Delphi SA10085 Roady2 XM Satellite Radio Receiver with Built-in Wireless FM Modulator Review

I bought this receiver about 4 1/2 years ago when I first got XM. It is a straight foreward little receiver. Very easy to use but the best part about it is how rugged the little thing is.. I originally bought it in Pennsylvania and used it in my Wrangler during the cold winter months. It got snow on it many times and was subjected to temperatures down to about 5 degrees. I brought it with me when I lived in Albuquerque NM where it was subjected to sand and dust almost nonstop. I used it when I lived in Fort Walton Beach Florida when the unit got rained on every day at about noon. I can't count the amount of times I saw water in the screen and it still worked. I had trouble getting the water out once and accidently melted part of the faceplate trying ot remove it.. The screen turned black and I thought it was done for.. I fixed the melted plastic put in a new faceplate insert and in less then a few hours it was working just fine and it looked like new. Now I live in Vegas and it has endured the extreme heat out here as well.. Sometimes up to 120 degrees..
This little thing is worth more than what you think. It's not fancy, but Delphi did something right making it.. If you are always on the move and always outdoors getting dirty this thing is perfect.. My unit is over four years old, has been through more torture than any electronic device i've ever used in my life but still works like new.. If I "could" break the darn thing I would buy another.

BAD CONNECTIONS -

Delphi SA10085 Roady2 XM Satellite Radio Receiver with Built-in Wireless FM Modulator Review
I agree with the 'positives' of other reviewers - it is a nice product, when the connections are functioning. However, after only a few months usage, the power jack of my FIRST Roady2 quickly became loose inside; and haphazardly gave power randomly on-and-off.With warrenty I received another module that lasted a little longer, but the same issue cropped up - bad connection between adapter power plug and module's jack. I've read that other Roady2 users have experienced the same defect. A Delphi associate reluctantly admitted that he's familiar with complaints of this weak link but a repair would cost me more than purchasing a new module.

Delphi SA10085 Roady2 XM Satellite Radio Receiver with Built-in Wireless FM Modulator Review
I got a Roady 2 about 2 years ago and it performed well enough that my son bought one and got one free which he gave to my son-in-law. That one never worked, mine has been plagued with poor antenna and power connections and now has completely quit. So that makes two of three dead in under two years. Reliability and performance are both poor.
I certainly won't be buying another Delphi product to replace this one. The user interface wasn't very well thought out and the limited number of channels that you could use for the FM Modulator made it have limited use in Washington DC where you could not drive from outside the Beltway to inside the Beltway without having to change the channel selection. All in all one of the most disappointing pieces of electronics I have ever purchased.
