I bought the skin to protect my Sandisk from the occasional drop. It should protect it just fine. I think if I were a runner I would probably purchase something nicer. The belt clip is seems a little cheap. I got what I paid for and are happy with it.

Well, it fits properly and protects my MP3 player, so I would say it works fine. And, being a girl, I have to mention that the color is really pretty (I got the light green).
The lanyard is a cheep piece of metallic cord, but I really had no use for it anyway, since I keep the player in my pocket or backpack (nicely protected by the skin). I wouldn't trust the belt clip or the armband, those went in the trash.
Overall, I am happy. In the local stores, all I could find were covers for the iPod, so I was happy to get this.
