Great coffee table book. Beautiful photography. Info about celebrity weddings but not a practical wedding planning book by any means. This book is all about getting ideas from celebrity weddings and inspiration. This would be a nice book to look through to take a break from wedding planning and advice books and just to get a feel for what kind of a wedding you want and what that might look like.

My best friend recently got engaged and I was looking for a wedding planning guide or book to get for her. I saw this at a bookstore on sale and started looking through it; it is the perfect present for someone who just got engaged. I gave it to her at her engagement dinner and not only did she love it, but so did everyone else. They passed it around the table and everyone loved the pictures and ideas. Basically, the book is divided into sections of different things; dress, cake, flowers, etc. It also features celebrity wedddings and real life weddings to see ideas in real life.
Overall, a great book for planning a wedding with great ideas, and a perfect engagement present.

This elegant book hit just the right tone for my sister's wedding. Stylish and sophisticated, the ideas within were not so over the top or expensive. A Wedding is not just an excuse for a party, but a very important celebration. But this book shows how to add to that celebration with thoughtful, elegant, relevant and simple touches. The overall impression from each suggestion was of simple elegance. From the smallest family gathering in a peaceful garden, or a large party in a lavish hotel, the theme was understated. It looked like the brides had paid great attention to detail, but had not tried too hard. We loved that balance. We loved the book.

I love this book, it offers classic ideas for weddings, I got married a year and a half ago and still enjoy looking at the book and lend it to friends for ideas but always get it back.
