    Meh, it's decent... - 3 stars
    Halo Uprising #1 Review
"Halo: Uprising" is a fairly decent addition to the Halo franchise. Taking place between Halo 2 and Halo 3, the story has a few pages each issue dedicated to the Master Chief, but the story is mainly about two civilians, a hotel concierge and a pop musician as they fight to survive an attack on Cleveland, Ohio by The Covenant, which are looking for something called "The Key of Osanalan."

As for good things about the comic series, the environments, The Covenant, the marines, vehicles, and the Master Chief look great, and the story is pretty good.

As for the bad things, the civilians, such as the main characters, look incredibly weird, especially the female protagonist. The plot also seems rushed. For example, the second The Covenant find out of "The Key of Osanalan," the comic immediately switches to the male protagonist freaking out. And just a few panels later, the female protagonist comes in, and just a few pages later, they act like they know each other very well, and in issue #2, which takes place on the same day that issue #1 took place on, they agree to get married, which is just completely rushed and incredibly cheesy! One final thing that is a downside to the series so far is that there is too little of The Chief and way too much of the two of the constantly complaining, unlikeable characters. I mean seriously, The Chief is the cover character, yet he only gets out 6-10 pages per issue?

Overall, "Halo Uprising" is a fairly decent comic series, and for $3.99, it's worthy of a buy because it's another excuse to sell your Halo collection on Ebay for a higher price in a few years.

Good, but get elsewhere - 3 stars

I agree with the others. Yes it is good, but it's not worth the cost of buying it online, paying the insane shipping (unless you get all of them), and then waiting for a delivery that will take you maybe 5 minutes to read.
Not worth it.... - 2 stars
    Halo Uprising #1 Review
This comic book is very well written and designed but it is short and gives virtually no information. It is about a two people in the city that is attacked and how the cheif is captured, they just spread it out over 4-5 pages. The artwork is great but for around $12 with shipping it is just not worth it.
    DON'T BUY! - 1 stars

Don't but this book. Why spend $6.00 and shipping when you can go to your local HotTopic, gamestore or comic shop, and buy it for $3.00? Please don't buy this.
This rocks , bring on Halo 3 - 5 stars
    Halo Uprising #1 Review
The art work is incredible , it starts to open up the whole Halo universe from another perspective and with the storylines!
