The drawback is you don't get the second disc of either Meet Me in St. Louis or Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, so if you're a featurette junky or if you simply have to see the reshot version of Seven Brides, you'll want to stick with the individual releases. But this set does include the commentary tracks and any other material that was on the first disc of those two-disc sets (The Music Man still has everything that was on the one-disc release), and best of all, they have the great remastered pictures of the previous releases. These are some of the essentials in American musicals, especially Seven Brides For Seven Brothers. The dances are spectacular. My favorite is I'm a Lonesome Polecat.

I love all 3 movies, I have always wanted a copy of Meet me in St. Louis, and The Music Man, what a treat I get with Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. Too bad they don't make movies like these anymore. What a shame.

This is a no-frills set, but I was glad to add it to my collection of musicals. Very good quality rendition in The Music Man and Meet Me in St. Louis. Not so super in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, but I'm no great expert on transcription, so have no suggestions. It's a great set.
