 My favorite Jack Johnson album, November 19, 2008 |

"In Between Dreams" is a wonderful assortment of music. Mostly consisting of heartfelt and feel good songs; such as: Better Together, Banana Pancakes, No Other Way, Constellations. Unto more upbeat rhythmic tracks: Sitting Waiting Wishing, Breakdown, Staple It Together. Even touching on the more political/societal themes in: Never Know, Good People, and Crying Shame.
Johnson's songs are bursting with meaning, yet a certain simplicity. Thoughtful lyrics are a huge part of his music. It's what I appreciate most about his songs. The folksy, smooth, melodic beat coming close second. |

Jack Johnson... This is one of those CD's that you have to have. I love to listen to it on the beach and driving in my car. It's just so relaxing. Can't say enough good things about it. One of my favorites besides John Mayer |
