I love this cd! I also loved the movie and listening to the music brings back certain scenes from the movie. However, the music stands on its own beautifully. I also bought a copy for my Mom who has not seen the movie, and she enjoys it as well.

Becoming Jane is very entertaining. The music and the scenery are beautiful, and the acting is very well done. I love the flow of the language.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. I cry every time. The love theme in Twenty Years later, Last reading, Runaways, and the Rose Garden is so bittersweet. A Game Of Cricket, Bond Street Airs, and Selbourne Wood are light and playful. To the Ball, Goodbye Mr. Lefroy,Distant Lives, To Be Apart, A Letter From Limerick, The Loss Of Yours, and To Be Apart are heartbreaking. Very enjoyable.

I absolutely loved the background music playing on the official movie website even before the film was released, so I just bought the soundtrack, but to my dismay, the very song that made me buy the CD in the first place were not on the CD!!! I'm very disappointed and will try to return the CD. The music isn't bad, just not what I expected! Why wouldn't the music played in the movie trailer and on the official website be on the soundtrack??
