I'm NOT an American Idol fan.
I do NOT watch American Idol.
I find the whole "outfit" out of hand and juxta-politically motivated.
Ryan Seacrest is enough to turn my stomach.....Anyway! I'd not heard this guy until this album release. I'm very impressed with both the songwriting and the compositions: Mix these with this voice and you have a very grass-roots sound that is most pleasing to the ear. Good job Mr. Stacey and producers. Perhaps country is "cool" again, I'm not certain, but this LP is good, no matter the genre.

I have thought Phil Stacey was a wonderful singer since he was on American Idol. I have enjoyed playing the CD many times since I bought it at Amazon.com. I guess I'm a swinging grandmother!

Simply put, I think this is an excellent CD and a strong debut. Nice country listening. All of the songs were decent, none offputting. I read a review that said it was unbalanced which I completely disagree. It flowed nicely. Good job, Mr. Stacey! We look forward to more!

Phil Stacey Review

Phil was our favorite almost from the very beginning of Season 6, simply because he had the best, most attractive voice of them all. Who else could've tackled "Night and Day" and sung it so well and so beautifully??? No one else!! Phil can sing just about anything, which is a rare gift. And what a nice guy -- we hope he has a very successful career, made all the sweeter because he recognizes Who gave him his gifts and opportunities.
