I got this headset after reading up on the reviews here, and I was sorely disappointed. (I returned the product yesterday) When the person I was talking to could actually hear me, things were great... The problem was that the headset didn't always pick up my voice. It might have been because I had it adjusted incorrectly, but the comeplete lack of instructions/ documentation did not instruct me on how to adjust it properly. After trying it for 3 weeks, in a few different situations, and playing with the adjustments, I could not get it to work properly. The search for a good handsfree device continues...

I have several of these. I also have lots of bluetooth headsets. For those times where I can live with a wired headset (which is most of the time) I use this one. You can sit in a crowded restaurant and the person you are talking to thinks you are alone in a quiet office.
Brilliant design that every phone maker should license and build in to their handsets.
It has two microphones, one facing your mouth and one facing out. They are cross-connected so any sound that comes through both sides is cancelled. Only sound coming from your mouth is picked up.
Stays in your ear without the loop, and seals the ear canal so well that I actually have to turn DOWN my volume.
The earpiece is the same as the Shure e2c consumer-grade in-ear monitor (which I also own). So you are essentially getting 1/2 of a $100+ in-ear monitor for your phone. That means excellent sound quality. When combined with the best noise cancelling I've ever used, I can say that this is the best kept secret in telephony.
I use this on my cell phone and on my land-line phones. No one ever knows where I am or what kind of phone I'm on.

Very nice sound and mike. Fits on ear well, but I had to give to my wife, because I have a RAZR that doesn't have a jack for it!

I've had this unit for about a year, it acts as an ear plug on the ear I'm wearing it on, and I can hear my caller even in strong winds. The audio quality is great. Since the microphone sits directly in front of my mouth the caller can hear me just fine and many times they don't know I am in the car. Since it's a wired unit, there are no batteries to charge and it's always ready to go. If you don't mind things in your ear this is a great head set.

This headset is pure quality. Everytime i use it, people ask me if I'm at home because even on the road it sounds very crisp and clear. I am very pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quality headset. SHURE only makes quality products.
