    5 stars Loved it, September 30, 2008
This book, is great for anyone into warhammer 40k. or anyone into fiction passed off as fact, kinda like the zombie survival guide or world war z. full of fun propaganda. a great read.
    4 stars Infantryman's Primer, July 1, 2008
For those who have a love for the Warhammer 40,000 universe. If you don't, well, this is still a fun book but you'll lose at least 75% of it's enjoyment. For those who have served in the military, you recognize the design of this book.

Physically, this is a well made product that a lot of effort has gone into making the WH40K universe come alive. My one complaint is that they printed it so some of the reading has to be done under a magnifying glass. Who knew they still made fonts that small?

Reading wise this isn't something anyone will read over and over, I doubt there will even be many who read it cover to cover, but for those who are into the game and/or the books, they'll enjoy just owning this tangible slice of the adventure they've so enjoyed. I know I did.

5 stars Great for 40k Fans and the RPG, June 26, 2008
This is a very entertaining book for anyone that is a diehard fan of warhammer 40k, specifically the imperial guard. It is an even better book to hand your imperial guardsman player in the 40k Dark Heresy RPG. Nothing beats your guardsman looking up how to handle a situation in their trusty uplifting primer.
4 stars It's the funny kind of government propaganda!, February 26, 2008
If you're into the Warhammer 40k universe this is an entertaining read. It also is very amusing in it's view on other "inferior" alien races. Its a good reference for the RPG, miniature, or even the novels.
    5 stars Meena's Review, January 25, 2008
I purchased this item for my son who is 15 years old. He enjoys every page of the manual. Because of him, I have learned to enjoy the world of Warhammer 40,000. I love reading all the books and my favorite writer is Dan Abnett. This manual is quite interesting to both of us and because we are both avid readers, we are constantly sitting with a book.
