Sonic The Hedgehog brings the popular character back to his high-velocity roots, for a new dimension of entertainment. In his first adventure set in the human world, Sonic meets a beautiful princess named Elise -- queen of Soleanna, the beautiful city of water. Five minutes into it... I stopped playing.
I've had more fun watching grass grow and paint dry. Don't get it. Definitely DO believe the reviews. |

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not a sonic hater but this game was horrible! The opening movie was awesome, But sadly it went all down hill from there, the game is glitchy, very glitchy, A Perfect example would be that Sonic can't run in water (in fact he drowns) But one time he just so happened to run right into the water and keep going (creepiest thing I have ever seen in my life! the textures were going wacko and everything)
I'm going to be honest here and tell you that I put the game down after 3 hours of playing it, my reason: It feels unfinished, and thats being nice, certainly not worth the $20 it is (it was $50 when it came out, shortly after the ps3's release, or maybe released with it, not sure)I think it would be worth the price of about $10-15 no more than that. My overall rating of this game would have been 2.5 but I gave it 3, cause sonic gave me many happy days back when he was 2-d |

This game just down right HORROBLE. Did sega rush through this game?
Camera is HORRIBLE, wich needs to be decently good. VOICE ACTING???Human characters make these wierd sounds. The Text messages should have only existed for this failure. So many other mistakes to list. Now getting to the point!!! Don't know if sega had to rush the game so they can meet a relese deadline or what????????. The most important part's of this "not considered game" are missing. This is an incomplete game that should have not been released when it did. If the developers gave this game a few more weeks of development, I am sure people would have appreciated it more. Instead it became a waste of resources, blu-ray disk, time, and money. Whoever released Sonic like this should be relieved of their job. Sonic needs to be rethinked from the Dreamcast days. DREAMCAST was the last time Sonic showed what he is made of. |

This game is full of glitches and has long load times. I played it on xbox 360 and it wasn't as bad as for playstation. Do not waste your money |

I must agree with many of the other reviewers. I purchased this because I thought it would be fun for a freind and I to play sonic like the good old days. Well, I was horribly shocked to find that this has the great graphics and speed of sonic when it is not loading, and the controls are awful to use here. The camera angle keeps wanting to go straigh above the character when you start to run, making it at times impossible to see where your shooter is that is killing you. It really makes the game difficult to enjoy because you are always stopping and tilting the camera. It is possible to make progress, but there is a steep learning curve. Not recommended for young users because it is so tough to hold your attention haing to stop the action all the time to adjust. I'm glad I got it at 1/5 original cost. Good luck in gaming, but skip this one even if you really like sonic. |
