Great Headset, Poor manufacturing..., December 28, 2008
The headset is great and helps get truly "wireless". It has great sound quality and pretty decent reception. The battery lasts quite some time; however, after owning the headset for about 2 - 3 weeks, it stopped charging. The headset was used, so I'm not certain of its full lifetime, but Microsoft refuses to warranty a second hand product. Long story short, if you want coverage for those first 3 months, buy it new, in package. Otherwise, invest in a SquareTrade warranty on it (not sure if they cover it, but it's worth a try).

Amazing Headset! Limited Addition!, September 18, 2008

This is an amazing headset that works just as well as the regular one. It is also a special edition and matches my special edition Halo 3 Xbox!
Buy this now if it is still available, they discontinued the production of this product! It is a must have for any true Halo fan!

Great, but not Perfect, May 6, 2008
I bought an open box Halo 3 Wireless Headset but it didn't work so I sent it to Microsoft. I had a brand new one in my hands in 3 days.
I have to say I'm pleased with it. It charges quick enough, and it fits on the ear pretty well. It is difficult, as I have gigantic ears, but it fits well enough so that it doesn't hurt. I did have some trouble with it not recognizing my voice until I started yelling. In Halo 3, you almost have to shout to get it to make the voice icon recognize that you area talking. Other than that and some minor static, it's a great headset. Would gladly get it again.

Worked Great . . . Untill It Didn't, May 1, 2008
I bought this on February 1st. It worked PERFECTLY until today, May 1st. Exactly three months of responsible use and the battery stops taking a charge.
COINCIDENCE?!
. . . Probably. But it still makes me very angry. Consumers should not put up with short-lived electronics. It IS possible to make these things last for more than a few months. I just hope I can find some warranty information. Cost me $60.

It was great...while it worked., March 10, 2008

I loved this headset. It had great sound quality, it was comfortable, and it had a good battery life. Up until it died, one month or so out of warranty. There was no damage to it, it hasn't been dropped, or gotten wet, or anything. It was just sitting on a table. It worked fine two nights ago, and tonight, nothing. No power. I plugged it in to the USB charger that came with it. Nothing. No lights to indicate it was charging. So I plugged it into my PC to see if it was a bad USB port. No dice. I tried my cellphone charger, nothing. So here I am, with a completely dead, four month old, $60 headset.
I think I'll go back to a wired one. At least when they die, they're cheaper to replace.
