I had heard so much hype about this game and it is well deserved. The 100+ mini-puzzles are fun, all the while keeping you on track to the bigger picture which is the big mystery of the curious village. Definitely a good buy.

Bought this for my 11 year old's birthday. She absolutely loved it - couldn't put it down. We searched for another game similar, but haven't been able to find one. Hoping another will be available soon.

I haven't seen anyone else mention the tedious dialogue that takes up so much time in this game. I don't care about the conversations between the characters. Perhaps there is a way to bypass them, and I just haven't figured it out yet.
The puzzles are not enjoyable to me. It's like being back in third grade doing bogus math problems. Perhaps I am just more of a word person. I really enjoy the DS game Word Jong. Word Jong

Truly an amazing game. It has a great storyline and there are so many mysteries to uncover. The puzzles get challenging during the middle and the end of the game, so dont use the hint coins in the begining. This is the best puzzle game yet, and I cant wait for the sequal to Curious Village, Professor Layton and Pandora's Box.

I loved this game, counldn't put it down. Unfortunately that made it go too fast--I've solved every puzzle in the game and almost all from downloads. Only one download a week just isn't enough, so now I'm bored with it, but when it was new--ahhhh, it was heaven!
