I'm no hardcore rocker. I'm actually a 43 yr old housewife that loves to be the drummer of our family Rockband! When my foot pedal cracked I searched the garage for sometype of "band-aid" to repair it. With limited resources, I wasn't able to fix it. I called Rockband and they informed me that there were many types of accessory items available on the internet. I researched and read all of the reviews and found that the PEDAL METAL BILLET was the one that I wanted. It arrived faster than stated on my purchase and was very easy to install. I did it myself! Because of the ridges on the Wii footpedal, I did however, drill ever so tiny pilot holes for the self tapping screws. This ensured that the pedal overlay was aligned with the original plastic pedal beneath for all 7 screws. I am back in business and enjoy drumming and playing Rockband with my family.

I actually purchased this to prevent my pedal from breaking, or at least delay it as long as possible. I am actually very happy that I chose to do this.
The materials used in this replacement are of good quality, an if any of the pieces break, they are easily replaceable at a very cheap price. On top of everything else, with the hinge that is included, the pedal feels more natural and moves a whole lot smoother than it did before.
I love it.

After viewing the video on their web site, I opted to purchace the Billet style pedal repair kit with the hinge. The extra plate for the heel just makes the entire kit more professional while securing the flexible Lexan hinge. The fit and apperance of the parts are top notch. Assembly was quick and very easy and can be done by persons with very little mechanical aptitude or experience. No matter where your plastic pedal has broken this kit will put you back in the action in no time. Delivery was fast and shipping was reasonable. Highly recommend this product.
